Sandbridge Barton Pinot Noir 2022
A lovely Pinot Noir made in Devon with flavours of elevated red fruit, wild strawberry, red currant, and cherry with a touch of spice and subtle oak. The taste is bright and concentrated with more red berries, that are then supported with a mouth-watering acidity, soft tannins and a long and complex finish. This wine is great paired with Lincolnshire Poacher Cheese and some yummy Cobble Lane Charcuterie.
Sharphem have been producing award-winning English wines for over 40 years on the banks of the River Dart in South Devon, making them one of the pioneering modern wine producers in the UK. Their original vineyard was planted on the Sharpham Estate in 1981 by Maurice & Ruth Ash, whose nephew Mark Sharman, along with our head winemaker Duncan Schwab, went on to craft a range of unique wines that have gained many national and international accolades over the decades.
